In contrast to the heaviness of last week and Joey being gone (thank you all for sending your heartfelt condolences, they are truly appreciated)...this week has been a buzz in the studio. In four short weeks I will be the first solo show of 2024 in theF1VEart Gallery... yikes, I'm not ready...but I will be! It feels good to be back in the studio and continuing the planning and creating of a series of new paintings. I'm really excited about how they are coming together and hoping if you're in town you'll come by and see what I've been up to.
The title of the show is "Pennies From Heaven"...inspired by the large piece above, which looks quite different than this photo that was just and idea in the planning stages. I'm not what you might call a superstitions person...though lucky pennies are my thing. I adore a heads up penny on my path and consider them a wink from the Universe! So what better title for this piece and my solo show!
I have a nice selection of all new work from abstract to florals and abstract florals...in a color palette that is all me, and I look forward to sharing them with you. I've added in a few snippets here in hopes to pique your interest!
I thought a Sunday afternoon would be the perfect time to gather friends and art in the studio in Liberty Station, so I hope you will save the date.

This Weeks Studio Session #139
If you want the things you love
You must have showers
So when you hear it thunder
Don't run under a tree
There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me
